Tanner Thorsness serves as a Personal Lender at Gate City Bank in Grand Forks, ND. Since joining the bank in April 2023, he has held many positions, including Customer Service Representative and Personal Banker. These experiences have strengthened his passion and commitment to helping customers achieve their financial goals – no matter how big or small.  

Originally from Bismarck, ND, Tanner earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of North Dakota. He later moved to Grand Forks, where he now resides. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and with family and friends. He’s also actively involved with Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals, where he’s able to stay connected with his community and grow professionally.

Of the bank’s Principles of High Standards, Sense of Urgency is Tanner’s favorite. “I believe it’s essential to provide customers with timely solutions,” he says. “I strive to make every experience at Gate City Bank smooth and efficient because our customers are our top priority.”
