Scott Hare serves as Gate City Bank VP of Retail Banking. With more than 30 years of banking expertise, Scott joined Gate City Bank back in 1992, beginning his career at the bank as a loan officer. Originally from Cooperstown and Grand Forks, ND, he graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1991, earning his degree in Banking and Financial Economics.

Outside of work, Scott serves with many volunteer groups, the South Central Dakota Regional Council Loan Committee and Jamestown Optimist Club. In his free time, he enjoys going to the lake, off-road biking, playing guitar and spending time with his grandson.

To Scott, being a team member at Gate City Bank means being part of something special – a bank that views its relationship with customers and communities quite differently than most financial institutions.
